Our PCGSL All-Stars Finish As World Runner’s Up In The Softball Little League World Series!

Congratulations to our Pitt County Girl’s Softball League 11-12 Yr Old All-Stars on finishing as Runners Up in the Little League World Series! They fell short today of their ultimate goal..we all did….but WHAT A SUMMER IT WAS for these players, coaches & parents!…..continued

They played til the last possible day of Summer. They gave us such a rush, watching them on the ESPN networks, down in Georgia. They energized thousands of fans at Elm St each day they played this week. And they continued laying the foundation for what I know will ultimately be a World Series title. I don’t know when. But I know this League will get there and they’re laying that Foundation, Brick By Brick . Thank you to all the Girls, and to Coach Medhus, Edwards & Peebles (My Friends) for all the thrills!
