05 Aug Next Level Training Center Member Matthew Matthijs Named To Team USA National Team!
Really exciting news, as Next Level member MATTHEW MATTHIJS has been named to Team USA’s 15U National team! The DH Conley sophomore was one of 72 athletes identified nationally by USA Baseball to try out…….The roster was then cut to 34 players on July 29. Then the final roster of 20 was announced July 31. Matthew is the only player from North Carolina on the roster. The Team USA 15U National Team will practice in Houston, TX from Sept 6-10, then travel to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, to compete in the COPABE U-15 Pan-American Championships. This is a BIG DEAL..And a HUGE honor! If you watch this talented young man’s work and commitment to process, it’s no surprise to see the success he’s having. Congratulations to all of the Matthijs family on this unbelievable opportunity! So pumped for Matthew!
