Next Level Member Anna Bayes Helps Lead The University Of Tampa To A D2 National Beach Volleyball Title!

Congratulations to former JH Rose star & current U of Tampa freshman ANNA BAYES, who helped lead the University of Tampa Spartans to their 2nd consecutive AVCA Small College National Championship. Here’s the super cool part……..

The National Title, vs Concordia University Irvine, came down to the 5th pairing, which was ANNA & her partner, fellow freshman Hailey Peterson, playing in the deciding match. With the court lined with players & teammates who’d finished their matches, they won 15-11 in the deciding 3rd set, setting off a dogpile in the sand, as Tampa captured their 4th National Title in the last 7 years.

Throughout her High School years, Anna was a central figure & leader in our Female Xplosion Classes, including this past summer. This capped off a remarkable freshman college year for Anna, at a program who found themselves ranked during the season in the National Top 20 for ALL College Beach Programs. So, so proud of Anna & excited for her. We had a chance to catch up last night and she was FIRED UP!!
