05 Mar Matthew Matthijs Returns Home; Off To Another Sizzling Start On The Mound!
It was great getting to spend a few minutes with MATTHEW MATTHIJS (DH Conley), and see his awesome family Monday night, as he and the Unc concluded their traveling series with our Pirates. We’ve said repeatedly over the years, that Matthew is and continues to be, one of the most diligent workers we’ve ever had in this building. He’s also always been one of THE most fierce COMPETITORS. A year after finishing 2nd in the nation in Pitching Wins, he’s once again off to a great start, leading the Tar Heels with 5 appearances, and collecting 2 of their 3 Saves. Contunued great things are ahead for him!
