19 Aug Great Trip To See Alec Burleson And Shawn Armstrong!
Quick trip to see a couple of our DUDES! Was nice to get to spend some time at the field, and away from the field, with ALEC BURLESON & MARY BURLESON, of the St Louis Cardinals. Alec continued a Stellar season Saturday night
, going 3-5, stealing a bag, and hitting his team-leading 21st HR. He also got to catch a ceremonial first pitch from JACKIE JOYNER-KERSEE on Friday night!! And it was great to get some time with SHAWN ARMSTRONG, who was recently traded to St Louis, from Tampa. For those that may not have been around then, Shawn trained here & did pitching lessons out of here, on his way up to the Big Leagues. Shawn looks great & is gonna be a GREAT veteran add in that pen. Looking forward to both guys finishing this last quarter of the season strong! Proud of them!
