Matthew Aldridge Commits To UNCW Baseball!

Congratulations to MATTHEW ALDRIDGE on his recent commitment to UNCW ! The former JH Rose Rampant (class of 2025) & Pitt CC Bulldog (2026) has had quite a spring & summer…….continued

In his freshman season at Pitt CC this year, Matthew put together an impressive offensive year, hitting .378 with a team-leading 9 HRs & a team-leading 59 RBI. He compiled an incredible 1.117 OPS & earned 1st Team All-Region honors. He has backed that Spring performance up with a torrid offensive performance this summer, up in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He was named the League’s Player of the Week in the first week of summer (pictured)…Thru 20 games he hit .351 (good for top 5 in the league), while leading the entire league with 6 Home Runs!

We’ve been watching Matthew since he was in Greenville Little League & we’ve known his wonderful family much further back than that. He’s always been talented, big, strong and fast. But, in Imho, he has TRULY blossomed over the last year. And alotta people in college & professional baseball have taken notice. We talk often of everyone’s path being different and Matthew’s path is yet another example.
